Here at CityTradesman, we take your privacy very seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services you request from us.

We will not pass these details on to any third parties unless required to do so in the provision of the app or if required to do so by law. We shall not contact you unless otherwise requested by you, for example, to reset your password. We will never contact you for advertising purposes, nor shall we pass your information on to any third parties for the same.

1. What we need

Login details – we collect the information you provide to us directly when you register for the app i.e. email address, password, photo or Facebook User details.
Anonymous usage data – we also collect anonymous usage data that tells us how the app is being used.

2. Why we need it

Login details – to ensure that every user has a unique login ID and can therefore benefit from the full app functionality, such as providing ratings and reviews.
Anonymous usage data – we use this to monitor app performance and improve functionality.

3. What we do with it

Login details – are stored on secure servers owned and operated by Specifix Ltd, a Gibraltar-based IT Services provider. No other 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so. We use your login details to personalise your experience of the app. For example, should you leave a rating or review of a business, your Login ID and image will appear against that review.

4. How long we keep it

Reviews remain within the app for a period of 6 months. After which, they are removed, however we retain that information for 1 year.
We retain your login details for a period of 1 year following your last use of the app. If you have not used the app for 1 year, your login details will be deleted from our servers. Should you then try to use the app again after 1 year of not using it, you will need to re-register.

5. What we would also like to do with it

We will not use your personal details for any other purposes, other than to personalise your experience of the app. We will not contact you for any reason, other than if you request us to do so e.g. if you request a reset of your password.
You may receive push notifications to your device via the app. No personal data is required to send these notifications. Should you not wish to receive push notifications, please disable this permission in your device Settings.

6. What are your rights?

At any time, you may request to see the information we retain on you and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer who will investigate the matter.

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
